How does laser hair removal work?
The hair on our body grows in three stages: anagen, telogen and catagen. Laser hair removal is most effective on the hairs in the early part of the anagen stage, when hair is actively growing. A concentrated beam of light (the laser) is aimed at the hair follicle. The laser then converts its energy into heat, heats up the hair follicle and prevents that follicle from growing any further.
How many laser hair removal treatments will I need?
