Stretch marks are a form of skin scarring associated with pregnancy, obesity, puberty, and short-term weight gain from bodybuilding and other physical activities. While some shy away from any creams or topical solutions, cosmetic laser stretch mark treatments are one of the newest methods for decreasing the color and texture of stretch marks. Furthermore, unlike traditional treatments like gels and creams, we use laser technology with red or brown stretch marks to create a thermal change to the skin, which stimulates new collagen and decreases the visible texture of stretch marks. As a result, as the new collagen thickens and plumps the skin, it fills in the stretch mark from below.
