Maribel is our spicy Colombian Dermagirl! Mari started her career in Miami at Palmetto Hospital in 1997 where she worked as a Physical Therapist Register. She continued to follow her dream of helping people feel better through healing therapies by becoming a licensed massage therapist and medical assistant in 1999. Mari spent the next 6 years working at a spa in Coral Gables and Bal Harbour offering massage therapy. In 2006, she began working with the founder of DermaCare Aventura, Dr Juan Castillo where she assisted him in his surgical procedures, treated patients for post lymphatic drainage/massage and became certified in cellulite reduction therapy. Maribel joined the DermaCare Brickell family in 2007 and has since become certified in laser hair removal, electrology and skin tightening procedures. Maribel is our Medical Assistant as well as laser and cellulite technician.  We value her experience and dedication to our patients.

Fun Fact: Mari is the first DermAbuela (Grandma) and loves to show off her salsa/cumbia moves on the weekends!
